In southwestern Cambodia, in Thma Bang district, a one-day free medical camp was held. Experts in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) provided consultations and treatments to workers at the Cambodian Tatay Hydropower Limited hydroelectric power plant and local residents. The event allowed nearly 200 people to experience the benefits of TCM firsthand. TCM is known for its therapies such as acupuncture, moxibustion, and therapeutic Tuina massage, which help treat conditions like chronic pain, insomnia, and hypertension. Koy Sareth, a 57-year-old Cambodian patient who had suffered from diabetes, hypertension, indigestion, and body pain for years, stated she felt better after acupuncture: 'I am ecstatic that the Chinese doctors came to give us free treatment. I trust this treatment, it is very good for me and for other people'. Suos Sareth, a 64-year-old patient with high blood pressure, diabetes, and arthritis, also received acupuncture for the first time: 'I hope to recover from my illnesses. For me, this treatment is truly effective'.
